Visit Park City

When the snow melts, Park City reveals a new version of itself: vibrant, colorful, and full of life. Located just 35 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport, the city synonymous with excellence in winter also delivers surprising summers and autumns amid the Wasatch Mountains. Between June and September, there is no shortage of activities for all types of travelers: epic trails, mountain biking, cultural festivals, and extreme adventures amid breathtaking scenery.

If the idea is to explore the landscapes on two wheels, the traveler has two options: hop on one of the electric bikes available at different points to discover the city's surroundings or venture up the mountain. Park City Mountain and Deer Valley lifts operate in the summer to provide easy access to legendary trails, with routes for all skill levels, that can also be explored on foot.

The city boasts the title of the world's first Gold Level Ride Center by the International Mountain Bicycling Association, offering more than 700 kilometers of trails for pedestrians and cyclists. And after your workout, there's no shortage of good places to recharge your batteries: restaurants like Silver Star Café, Five5eeds, and Twisted Fern are must-sees for those who value good food combined with the mountain lifestyle.

At Utah Olympic Park, you can watch the incredible Flying Aces show, with aerial acrobatics that defy gravity and make the crowd roar. Want to feel like part of the action? Try summer bobsledding! On the same track used during the 2002 Winter Olympics, visitors can experience the unique sensation of gliding at high speeds, surrounded by spectacular scenery. It is worth remembering that Park City is the only resort in the US (and one of only three in the world) that allows tourists to experience this thrill on an Olympic-sized track.

Park City also offers a variety of water activities that provide fun and relaxation for all types of visitors. The Provo and Weber rivers are ideal for adventures such as rafting, kayaking, and tubing, with options for beginners and families, as well as for more experienced riders looking for thrills on the rapids. For a more peaceful experience, the region's lakes and reservoirs, such as the East Canyon Reservoir, offer calm waters that are perfect for stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). Local companies organize guided tours that combine sports and nature contemplation, providing unforgettable moments amidst the stunning landscapes.

Center for arts and culture

But it is not only in the offer of adventures that Park City shines. Between June and September, the city comes to life even more with the intense schedule of events. From June 13 to 15, cultural diversity is celebrated with the lively Latino Arts Festival, bringing together art exhibits, workshops, traditional dances, and Latin cuisine to add even more color to the city from the Canyons Village Stage at Park City Mountain. The program on the 13th will be entirely dedicated to Brazil, with musical performances by the groups Aquarela do Brasil, Salt Lake Capoeira, and Brazuca Band, among others.

Scheduled to begin on July 3, the renowned Deer Valley® Music Festival brings exciting performances by the Utah Symphony and special guests such as Common, Lindsey Stirling, and The Beach Boys to the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater. Packing summer nights starting on July 29, the Deer Valley® Concert Series highlights artists such as Maren Morris and new names that will be announced soon. Also, Park City Mountain hosts Concerts on the Slopes all throughout the summer that kick off July 12.

Another highly anticipated event is the Kimball Arts Festival, which will celebrate its 56th edition in 2025, from August 1 to 3. Held on charming Main Street, the festival brings together 200 artists, representing artistic expressions such as ceramics, painting, sculpture, and photography. In addition to the exhibitions, the event offers live music, educational activities, and dining options, creating a vibrant atmosphere that attracts both collectors and families looking to relax. Proceeds from the festival support the Kimball Art Center's programs throughout the year, reinforcing the city's commitment to promoting the arts.

In Park City, the appetite for adventure is as great as the appetite for good food — and in the summer, the mountains also serve up unforgettable feasts to celebrate the region's rich cuisine. One highlight is Savor the Summit, known as Utah's largest outdoor dinner party, which will be held this year on June 28. During the event, Main Street transforms into a crowded open-air banquet, with special menus from local restaurants and Live music.

On September 13 and 14, the acclaimed Deer Valley Mountain Beer Festival invites visitors to sample craft beers amidst great music and mountain flavors. For wine and food enthusiasts, the Park City Wine Festival is a must-see. This event brings together more than 100 wineries, breweries, distilleries, and culinary artisans, offering tastings, wine pairing, and unique dining experiences at various locations throughout the city from October 2 to 4.

In addition, the Park Silly Sunday Market takes place on select Sundays during the summer, transforming Main Street into an open-air marketplace with food stalls, artisanal goods, live music, and family-friendly activities. Each event reinforces the laid-back, welcoming, and vibrant essence that makes Park City an unforgettable destination even in the snowless months.
