The Career Fair is in partnership with Conan Harris & Associates (CHA), Meet Boston's strategic partner in executing broader Workforce Development and Supplier Diversity initiatives.
“Workforce development within the tourism and hospitality sector is part of our mission at Meet Boston, to ensure our visitor economy remains robust,” said Martha J. Sheridan, President and CEO of Meet Boston. “The travel and hospitality sector is booming in Greater Boston and there are hundreds of open positions to fill, especially heading into 2026 when our region will host major events including FIFA World Cup 2026, Massachusetts 250 celebrations, Tall Ships and more. The time is now to connect prospective employees with our leading hospitality businesses in Greater Boston as we strive to build more equity, access and opportunity within the travel industry.”
“We're thrilled to partner again with Meet Boston to host another successful Career Fair to connect diverse job seekers with employers actively seeking to build a more inclusive and representative workforce, offer networking opportunities and direct interaction to showcase skills and find opportunities,” said Conan Harris.
More than 100 employers participated in last year's Meet Boston Career Fair and there is an expectation for even more businesses to participate this year – including hotels, restaurants, casinos, entertainment venues, sports teams, destination management companies, tourism and attractions, meetings and conventions, travel and transportation, and more. Both students and job seekers at all levels are welcome – internships, entry-level, full-time and part-time, whether they're hailing from trade schools, certificate programs or colleges.
The event will kick off at 11 a.m. with Principal and Founder of Conan Harris & Associates, Conan Harris; President and CEO of Meet Boston, Martha J. Sheridan; Meet Boston Board Chair Dan Donahue, who is President of the Saunders Hotel Group; Boston City Councilor Enrique J. Pepén; and President of Black Economic Council of MA (BECMA), Nicole Obe.
"Boston is a city of opportunity, and this Career Fair is a powerful example of what happens when we bring our employers and residents together in one space," said Councilor Enrique Pepén. "I'm proud to support this initiative by Meet Boston and Conan Harris & Associates, which not only opens doors to hundreds of jobs in hospitality and tourism but also centers equity, access, and representation in our workforce. Events like this help ensure that all of our neighborhoods can thrive and that Boston's economic growth includes everyone."
Conan Harris further stated, “This Career Fair allows candidates to showcase their distinctive perspectives and skills to companies seeking qualified talent. Employers attending these events are looking for top-notch candidates who can bring fresh ideas and contribute to an inclusive work environment.”
